| Hey, hey! I have a Bug that has been laid up in the garage for about 8 years now. Long story, short, (and believe me, 8 yrs is a long story) she needs a paint job and probably, a new floor pan on the passenger's side. She used to be my daily driver; I loved her and really want to get her back on the road. But, hubby says, she must have new paint in order to drive her We were at the VW's Over the Skyway this past year and got the name and number of a guy who does whole car paint jobs, but stupid me, hubby put his info in his pocket and I washed his pants, phone number and all. Anyway, just wondering if anyone out there knows anyone who paints or for that matter, what ur ideas on a general cost to paint her would be. Missin our fellow Volksies! Wanna get back in the loop! | Cool, I'll have to check him out. Wonder if he needs any plumbing work done? Trade for trade, would be so awesome. When I first bought her, she was black, then I painted her a light, metallic green, now she is yellow (her original color). But we paid our neighbor to paint her the yellow, and needless to say, it didn't work out so well. Anyway, thanks guys! Liz | |
