Small update:
We went to Dave's yesterday to see the progress. He found a lot of bondo in the right rear quarter panel. I was not expecting to see all of that. The car was hit sometime in the past. Whoever repaired, obviously did not do a very good job.

Yeah...hoping to have the body and paint finished by the end of July at the latest. It should be "complete" by Bug Jam.

As far as Boyd Hill, we might cruise over.

Hopefully Roxy will be in the paint booth this coming weekend...

Thanks guys! It wont be ready for Bug Jam unfortunately I'm hoping by the end of the year, maybe Jingle Bugs. Jerm, I'm going to use the BRMs from the vert Lol... so hopefully it will look sweet.

Understood...and I concur. My pockets became so shallow that I had to start wearing sweat pants.....Just to remind myself that the pockets were non-existent.

Taking the bug back to Dave's this weekend for some touch ups and some wet sanding. Still LOTS to do!

I got the car back from Dave. He did an awesome job with the paint! It was wet sanded and buffed. Now it is shining like a diamond. I also had the headliner installed by Anthony's shop. I went with a light grey tweed headliner, looks pretty sweet. Oh yeah, we also put the vent wings back in the doors. After buying the car with one piece windows installed and going back to the vent wings was an ordeal, but it was so worth it.
