The Ruin A Wish Thread!

This is how you play...The person above you states a wish and the person below grants, but ruins it.
Example:
Person 1: I wish I had a million dollars.
Person 2: Granted, but it's all monopoly money

Person 2 would then state their wish, and the person who posts after them would ruin it, etc, etc

I wish I could be on TV.

Granted, but you'll be on the LOGO Network.

I wish I had a new job making lots of money.

Granted, you get a new job printing money

I wish the 917 was done

Granted, It's ALL done when a tree falls on it in middle of night.

Wish I had a hot, twenty something female to play with.

Granted, you now have a stolen 20 pound female labrador puppy.

I wish I could take a trip to Hawaii

Granted, have fun, can't think of a way to ruin it.

lol I think most of us are wishing to be some place warmer.

Granted. You're living so large, you have grown to the size of six African elephants by overeating. They have to tear down the house around you to get you to the hospital for dialysis.

I wish I didnt have to pay for gasoline.

Granted. Your car was stolen and all you have left is a bicycle.

I wish I could lose 10 pounds without giving up cookies.

Granted. You loose your leg in a freak conveyor belt accident at the grocery store while purchasing cookies.

I wish I had more time to work on my bug!

Granted. You've been abducted by Arkansas hillbillies who get off by watching you work on your bug in women's lingerie.

Wish It was the weekend.

Granted, but a pipe leak means you spend the entire time mopping up water.

I wish it was a three day weekend without pipe leaks.

Granted, but you're sick all 3 days because you ate too many cookies trying to lose 10 pounds.

Wish business here at work would pick up.

Granted, but it gets so busy you have to hire another employee who robs you in the night to support their terrible cookie habit.

I wish all the holes in my bus were already welded.

Wish granted, every hole is sealed, including gas door,
key holes, air grills, etc.

Wish my computer was faster.

Granted. Your hard-drive spins so fast it breaks free and slices a hole through the case and into your big screen tv.

I wish I could work from home.

Granted. Your running a daycare changing diapers,
spit-up, and comforting screaming babies.

wish I had new carburetors for my vw.

Granted, but the carburetor fairy is dyslexic and left you carbs for a 1996 vw.

I wish that Verizon would stop calling me to review my services with them.

Granted, they stopped calling. Now they come knocking on your door everyday, all day.

Wish someone would pay off my credit cards for me.

Granted. A nice little old lady pays off your cards, but in return you have to sit and talk with her about the good old days... all day.... every day.. with photo albums...

I wish my nose would stop running.

Granted. It becomes completely clogged, you can only breath through your mouth, you cant smell or taste, even cookies are undesirable.

Wish all my neighbors would pack up and move away.

Granted. Your neighbors are gone, the street is vacant and your property values dropped 75% more than they already were.

I wish I knew how to dance.

Granted, you know how to dance, but forgot how to walk.

Wish I could take a trip to Scottland.

Granted, but due to a freak accident, the only thing available to eat the entire time is haggus.

I wish I had more hours in the day to get things done.

Granted, You have 24 hours of daylight, so you get little sleep and become too tired to do anything anyway.

Wish I knew why my VW runs like sh*#.

Granted.......you find out all the issues and get a price quote of 5,000 to fix it.


Wish I had plenty of money for the wedding.....

Granted, but the preacher steals it and runs off to Vegas with his mistress.

Wish it wouldnt rain on the days I dont work.

Granted, you now work EVERY day.

I wish my dogs could take care of themselves.

Granted. They work and make a living, but keep you kenneled up so you dont destroy the house. You wait all day for them to come home and walk you on a leash so you can do your business in front of everyone.

Wish my 401k was 1000 times larger.

Granted. However the government claims imminent domain and seizes it to pay off the national deficit. Better luck next time.

I wish I would find a pot of gold.

Granted. You find a pot of gold, but when you attempt to take it, a gang of leprechauns, seize you and make you their love slave.

I wish reality tv would go away, and make room for better entertainment.

Granted. But then people are afraid to leave their houses after gangs of unemployeed actors start roving the country looting and pillaging.

I wish I knew more about fixing engines

Granted, and it's a good thing because you'll be doing LOTS of fixing.

Wish I had a fiberglass Manx buggy.

Granted! Your Manx looks awesome sitting in the garage. Too bad the FDA has decided that dune buggys are bad for your health and made it illegal to drive them.

I wish I could take a nap!

Granted, you take a nice long nap, dreaming of how good the bus runs. Then you wake up.
(just kiddin' hope you find an easy fix)

Wish I could get out for lunch.

Granted! Your schedule clears up and you take off for lunch. Ironically a freak power plant accident shuts off electricity in a 10 mile radius creating massive traffic jams and closing restaurants.

I wish I wasn't so easily distracted at work.

Granted, but you have to work two jobs to support your Ritalin habit.

Wish I was a rock star.

Granted, but you get an embarrasing rash from the tight leather pants and are treated horribly by the paparazi.

I wish I had my tax refund already.

Granted, It's a whopping 44 Cents after the government keeps the rest for the spiraling deficit. Then they want you to return the 44 cents for cost postage.

Wish my headache would go away.

Granted, your headache goes away because you just broke your toe on the corner of your desk. ouch!

I wish my electric bill was lower.

Granted, your A/C, water heater, and stove/oven stop working, resulting in a lower electric bill.

My head feel better, toe's o.k., just wish my knee would stop hurting.

Granted, you no longer feel any pain in your head, toe, or knee. Probably because you drank too many green beers at lunch and are passed out at your desk.

I wish this cold would go away.
