| Well, since Father's Day of 2006, we have been driving our 1964 bug aka "Roxy" everywhere and loving it. Now, after almost 6 years we've decided to take her off the road for a while to give her a makeover.
We've disassembled the body and the interior. Now, to take the motor out (we'll be doing that this week). Then we are dropping her off with Dave aka BettleJuice to do the body work and paint. I will post some pics soon.

| Small update: We went to Dave's yesterday to see the progress. He found a lot of bondo in the right rear quarter panel. I was not expecting to see all of that. The car was hit sometime in the past. Whoever repaired, obviously did not do a very good job. | |

Yeah...hoping to have the body and paint finished by the end of July at the latest. It should be "complete" by Bug Jam. As far as Boyd Hill, we might cruise over. | |

| I got the car back from Dave. He did an awesome job with the paint! It was wet sanded and buffed. Now it is shining like a diamond. I also had the headliner installed by Anthony's shop. I went with a light grey tweed headliner, looks pretty sweet. Oh yeah, we also put the vent wings back in the doors. After buying the car with one piece windows installed and going back to the vent wings was an ordeal, but it was so worth it. | |
