Terry did point out that the heads had been cut quite a bit so the PO was not kidding about it being over 10 to 1. "I figure it's going to take around .180 shims to get me in the 8's. I can find .090 barrel shims,but is it ok to stack copper head shims to get where I need to be? I figure a 60 and a 30 should do the trick. The heads measured at 30cc chambers.

Went shopping at Sundance today and Terry hooked me up right!
Ended up buying a straight cam drive for a little whine, I'm going to post some stuff I'm not going to use from the last engine in the type 1 for sale section. Haven't got the body back yet so i will work on the engine a while!

1915 Engine is getting close single 40 carb should show up today!

Got a little more done this week end. I have major issues with the passenger side door adjustment we are going to have to get creative, Its a shame to drivers side is perfect.

It's Alive! The car is up and running,drove it around the yard today. Heading over to Anthony's for the headliner this morning. Sorry for the crappy video took it with my phone.

did you relocate any yard while driving around? i always try to do that but momma doesn't like that lol

Yes I did Muddober but it was not intentional,my 11 year old wasn't sitting in a seat and was relocated to the rear of the car too! The little 1915 is a torque monster plenty of power to break the tranny! Car is at Anthony's now, they asked for permission to use pictures of the car on their new website. "Pretty cool"

they should have taken pics of the 57 that they did for me it came out awesome. can't wait to see it finished. make sure you post up a link to their web site so we can refer to it. those guy's at anthony's are great and do great work!

Sooooo.... How did the headliner turn out?

Absolutely perfect! These guys are first class, I just haven't been able to get good pictures, whenever I think about taking them it's at night and it's hard to get a good pic of it "It's black" I will try to take some more pics today.
