Here is my Fiberglass Buggy project

As of now it's not much but a dream I do not know the name of this buggy all I do know is the it's a full length body so it will set on a full length Pan.

I have the main part of the chassis together now I need to put the rear torsion and front beam on I hope to have that done tomorrow

What kind of welder do you have and is welding something you do for a living or have you just practiced a lot?

Thanks ,,, I have a 110 volt Hobart welder and every time I use it I'm practicing

I got one of the cheap 90amp models from HF. I hear if one changes out the line and tips that it is better. We shall see. Your welds look good.

Do you use one of those autodarkening helmets? I haven't welded since high school and I remember that setting up the weld position, then sliding down that helmet was a pia.

Yes, I use the auto darkening and love it

Today I wielded the floor supports in made the body strips and drilled the holes.

So I had this large hole that a battery was to set down into

So I found a cardboard box made a mold. This is what came from it

I added a battery and this is what it looks like now , Next step is to fiberglass the box into the hole .

So I got a set of floor mount pedals BUT not enough room to mount them to the floor So I had to mount them somewhat deferent.
