| my grandfather owned a shop in phx. called E.T. BUG. he and my uncle built this car back in the late 70's and ran it till about 1984. poor thing got stripped and left for dead in a corner of the shops yard, but he would never part with what was left as it was their first race car. g-pa passed, uncle eventually closed and moved shop and it was offered to me a couple years ago. had a crazy idea to restore it back to it's original condition, paint scheme and all. it ran a lil turbo nitrous motor and was tuned to stay around the 10.4-10.6 bracket as they did not want to get into chutes and all that. enough of my memories, enjoy the pics! lowered ball joint disc brake ghia beam still with original Stilleto steering box in great working condition [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it's a mid-engine set up for swing axle and coil overs [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]body was held together with dzus fasteners which i ground off and going to weld body parts together and make a forward tilt body [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]3 inches of the bottom of the body was cut off, filled. fiberglass front has been cut as to raise the fender portion up 3 inches to match the body and glass back together [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]hand widened glass fenders. like a 5- 1/4 inch wide patch [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]thanks for the wheels ron! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]hmmm, volksrod, rat, drag or could make a cool off road rail??? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]thanks for looking, peace! | |

| I agree, but I still like the rat look. It would be fun to pull up next to someone with a 2332 turbo, and kill it. Single seater just blazing up and down the street. From what I understand it could be had, for the right price. I also know there are some vintage guys out there, that might "sport wood" if they saw it in person. | |
