John(a really creative fabricator) has been building these ultra lightweight sheetmetal “Tunnel Ram” style intake manifolds for about five years in his garage for one of the local buggy dealers. He got into the business due to his own set of problems with existing manifolds for his buggy. Too much down time cleaning carbs, and tuning. Drive to the dunes and spend the weekend being a mechanic instead of a driver. Bummer!
The economy in Michigan is kinda in the tank right now, so I told him that I would try and help him market a few direct to needy customers.

This new steel intake manifold is designed to fit 1835cc and larger VW air cooled engines. It resolves a lot of problems by allowing you to use a four barrel carburetor like the Edelbrock on your engine. The steel intake does not develop structural leaks or fractures that detune your engine. The new updated design allows for solution of a lot of problems you may be encountering.

If you are a good carb mechanic, you can purchase your new manifold here and then find and tune your own choice of carbs.

The intake is supplied to you right from the welder/fabricator and is unpainted and uncoated. You get to either paint it or coat it in the color and material of your choice.
