you still glance down at your lights and look in the rear to see if you
engine is not on fire

if when filling up with gas Require you to open the deck lid and check
the oil as well.

breakdown that not only do you actually carry a full toolbox with you at
all times, but also blankets, pillows and snacks enough to live
comfortably should the repair be out of your reach.

13 You know your a VW bus Driver when you carry a 3 1/2 ton floor jack with , just incase you need to pull the motor!

tools when you stop by because they know you're carrying them with you.

either give you the peace sign, do their fingers like they are passing
safety information, laugh or take pictures.

in the parking lot at work so you "feel like you are camping"

just so you can be an appropriate accessory to your vehicle.

41 You know you are a VW bus driver if you recognize your friends by the vehicle rather than their face.

very cool find and i do have to agree that most apply to all V-Dubbers. i know that i fit the bill for most especially the frost inside and out of the windows while wrapped in an army blanket driving to work.

Those are funny as Hell!

I make a point in making VW's to prove the opposite and manage too!

For example I won "VW Most likely to be towed home" in Charleston and drove the whole 1100 miles journey at minimum 75mph a restored bus from Miami broke down on the way back and had to be trailered back!

I have the slow moving vehicle magnet on the back of my bus and I cruise @75mph at the left lane!!!!
