We need to do SOMETHING!!!! Show & Shine

Guys and Gals,

I think it's time we get together and hang......It seems like the VW scene has gotten a little stale. I am considering doing a show and shine, just trying to put together a good time....maybe the second weekend of July. I'd like to make it a benefit, with all proceeds going to something cool (a charity). There are a couple of areas in mind. There is a little burger place right off the highway in Venice (Jacaranda) with a ton of parking. I also know I could secure Buffalo Wings and Rings in North Port. Both of these spots have great food and parking, both close to the highway (no in town driving for the Aircooled cars).....I might be able to find something in Sarasota, near the highway, as well. Please add your thoughts and let others know, as I haven't seen a lot of traffic on this site. I know when we get together, we always have a great time....it is just not often enough. I want this to get out to Tampa, Pinellas, St.Pete, Plant City, Orlando, Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Ft. Myers, Naples and anywhere else people will drive from. I want this to be FUN! Please step-up and let us know what you want.

That does sound like a good idea, plus there are always a lot of people that can never come on Sunday, due to a multitude of reasons.

BTW....The D/C looks GREAT!

Dude, I'm there! You just name the date, time and place. An evening gig would be the best IMHO.
