Terry did point out that the heads had been cut quite a bit so the PO was not kidding about it being over 10 to 1. "I figure it's going to take around .180 shims to get me in the 8's. I can find .090 barrel shims, but is it ok to stack copper head shims to get where I need to be? I figure a 60 and a 30 should do the trick. The heads measured at 30cc chambers. Sad

Went shopping at Sundance today and Terry hooked me up right!
Ended up buying a straight cam drive for a little whine, I'm going to post some stuff I'm not going to use from the last engine in the type 1 for sale section. Haven't got the body back yet so i will work on the engine a while!

Yes I did Muddober but it was not intentional,my 11 year old wasn't sitting in a seat and was relocated to the rear of the car too! The little 1915 is a torque monster plenty of power to break the tranny! Car is at Anthony's now, they asked for permission to use pictures of the car on their new website. "Pretty cool"
